I barely got to know it, but I can see now why they are so popular. It really is a spectacular car to drive. This particular Sport line car is also a sharp looker. Only minor complaint I have is the start-stop feature, which I didn’t have enough time to get used to and just switched off. That’s more me though.

I don’t like the brakes or steering, and the transmission seems dumber than the one in my E46 if that’s even possible. It’s great if you’re in sport mode and zipping around, but for normal driving I wasn’t a fan.

I hope to never own a car with that worthless and pointless start-stop feature.

Stop-start has been a major complaint with the F30 since day one. How Chevy and Ford can get them right in the mainstream sedans but not BMW in their luxury sedan, I don’t know. Apparently a lot of people have the dealer program it to default to off.

I get the start stop system is useful if you're caring about gas mileage, but I think it won't be useful in a AMG SUV....

I don’t particularly care for Start and Stop 99% of the time. The 1 MPG it may or may not save won’t kill me, I do use it once in a while because my car is like the Fortress of Solitude in stop and go traffic when it’s off and I’m either talking to someone or trying to be alone with my thoughts. But most times it is the first button I press when I turn my car on to deactivate.

And they put it in the Maybach as well. Which would be ok if the V12 didn't take so long (comparatively) to crank over.
